Keyboard Shortcuts

Competition Control has keyboard shortcuts on the pages volunteers use most: check in, inspection, the scoring dialog, solo fields, alliance selection, and award scripts. A shortcut presses the same button a click would, so it does nothing when that button is grayed out or hidden from the device's role.

Note
On macOS, Alt is the Option key.

Global

Shortcut	Action
`/`	Open search and jump to a page
`Esc`	Close the open dialog or menu

Check In and Inspection

While a checklist item is focused:

Shortcut	Action
`P` or `Y`	Mark the item passed
`F`	Mark the item failed
`N`	Mark the item not applicable
`↓` / `↑`	Move to the next or previous item

For yes or no questions, Y and P answer yes, and N and F answer no. The arrow keys carry past the end of the checklist: ↓ from the status row moves to Save Inspection, and ↑ from there returns to the status row.

Anywhere on either page:
