Competition Control prints the lists, schedules, rankings, and award documents you hand out during the day. Every printout opens from the Printouts card on the Overview page, the first item in the sidebar. The card has a menu button for each group: Teams, Matches, Rankings, and Judging. Click a menu, then a report name, and the report opens in a new browser window with a Print button, ready for your browser's print dialog. If nothing opens, allow pop-up windows for the host computer's address.

Reports are built from the live event data the moment you open them, so reopen a report after making changes. Every page has a header with the program logo, the report title, the event name, and Generated followed by the time you opened it. Reports that run past one page show the page count in the footer. The Teams, Matches, and Rankings menus appear for every operator role. The Judging menu lists only the reports the device's role can open: the two eligibility printouts for roles that can view eligibility, and Award Winners and Award Ceremony Scripts for roles that can view award winners. Admin and Judge Advisor see all four. See Roles and Permissions.

Teams

  • Team List: One row per team with Team, Name, Organization, Location, and Grade, in the order shown on the Team List page. The subtitle shows the team count. Print it for the check-in table and the judges once teams are loaded.
  • Team List by Grade: The same list split into sections for Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and University, each with its own count. Grades with no teams are left out, and the Grade column is dropped since the heading provides it.
  • Check-In and Inspection: Team, Name, a Checked In box, the current inspection Status, and As Of, the time the status last changed. Teams that have not checked in have an empty box and a blank status. Reprint it mid-morning so the inspection table has a paper list of who still needs to come through. See Team Check In and Inspection.
  • Pit Signs: One landscape page per team with the program logo, the team number in large type, the team name, organization, and location. Print on card stock the night before and post one at each pit.
  • Alliance Selection Signs: One landscape page per team containing signs that can be used by teams during alliance selection.
  • Anomaly Log by Team: A worksheet for referees to fill in by hand, with one row per team showing the team number and name, an empty Red Card box, and two lines for Yellow Card / Notes. The first page has a Referee Name line, and three blank rows at the end take anything that does not belong to a listed team. Print one for each referee before matches start.

Matches

  • Match List: Every alliance match with Match, Time, Field, and one column per alliance slot (Red 1, Red 2, Blue 1, Blue 2, and so on), with the match count in the subtitle. Qualification and elimination matches that have been created are included; solo matches are not. Print it for the queue table and each field after teams are assigned.
  • Schedule by Team: One page per team listing only that team's alliance matches in the same columns. Teams with no matches get a page that says No matches scheduled. Hand these out at check-in so each team has its own schedule.
  • Elimination Bracket: A landscape bracket with each round, the seeds and teams in every series, a score box for each match played, and the Champion once decided. For Exhibition Finals it prints an Elimination Rankings table with Rank, Seed, Team, and Score instead. Before the alliances are finalized it says No elimination bracket yet. See Eliminations.

A team marked with _ in a match list is playing that match as a surrogate. The footer of each page explains: **A team marked _ does not have this match count for them.**

Rankings

  • Qualification Rankings: Rank, Team, Name, then the columns for your program's ranking type, chosen on the Matches setup step. Programs that rank by record show W-L-T, RP, AP, and EP. Aerial Drone Competition Pro shows W-L-T, RP, and AVG. Programs that rank by average score show Average Score and Matches Scored. The columns match the Rankings page and the Alliance Rankings display screen. See Rankings.
  • Qualification Rankings by Grade: The same rankings split into grade sections. Rank numbers restart at 1 within each grade, so the top team in each grade is easy to find.
  • Solo Rankings: Rank, Team, Name, Score, and the highest score for each solo match type, for example Highest Piloting Score and Highest Autonomous Flight Score. The number of attempts taken follows each score in brackets. Only teams with at least one attempt are ranked. See Solo Matches.
  • Solo Rankings by Grade: The same solo rankings split into grade sections with ranks restarting in each.

Judging

The Award Winners, Award Ceremony Scripts, and Award Certificates reports also open from the Award Ceremony Printouts panel on the Finalize page. See Finalize and Awards. The two eligibility printouts are the paper version of the Eligibility page; how the requirements and cutoffs are worked out is explained in Excellence Eligibility.

  • Excellence Eligibility by Grade: For each grade, the teams that meet the participation requirement, with Team, Name, Qual Rank, Solo Rank, the score for each solo match type with attempts in brackets, and a check in the Eligible column for teams that meet every performance requirement. A line under the header states the cutoffs, and ranks that miss a required cutoff are highlighted. Teams without a grade appear under No Grade. Notebook status and highlights from the Eligibility page are not printed. For Aerial Drone Competition and Aerial Drone Competition Pro this report is titled All-Around Champion Eligibility by Grade, and the robotics programs add a Coding Rank column.
  • Excellence Eligibility Combined: The same report with all grades ranked together. Titled All-Around Champion Eligibility Combined for the drone programs.
  • Award Winners: Every award with Award, Team, Team Name, Organization, and Location. Awards with more than one winner take one row per winner, and for solo awards the team's top solo score follows the team number. Awards with no winner yet show a dash.
  • Award Ceremony Scripts: One page per award for the emcee, with the award name, its description, The [award] is presented to, and each winner's number, name, organization, and location. Performance awards won by an alliance print one page per alliance, and solo awards include Top solo score. Awards with no winner print blank lines labeled Team Number and Team Name (or Recipient Name for awards given to a person) so judges can fill them in by hand. If you have built award slides on the Slides page, the scripts follow the slide order; otherwise they follow the award order with unassigned awards first. See Award Ceremony.
  • Award Certificates: One landscape certificate per award winner on the official RECF certificate design for the program, filled in with the award, the team number and name, the event name, and the date it is printed. An award given to a person shows their name on the first line.

Printing

Click Print in the report window, or use your browser's print command, and choose a printer or Save as PDF. Reports are laid out for letter paper with default margins. Pit Signs, Alliance Selection Signs, Elimination Bracket, and Award Certificates switch to landscape on their own; everything else prints in portrait. Print Match List and Schedule by Team after teams are assigned to matches and the schedule is final, and print Award Winners and Award Ceremony Scripts after winners are recorded on the Finalize page. Scripts printed before winners are entered serve as a template for judges to fill in by hand.
